And I got zend certified ! DAYUMN !!

Narrative

Hello everyone. First of all, let me shortly tell you my story. Actually, I loved PHP and wanted to get zend certified for a long time, and so I went through trainings in Bangladesh’s one and only Zend authorized training center. Frankly, I didn’t think I could pass it that easily, as I kept on hearing that the exam was damn hard, and that it is one of the few vendor certification exams which cannot be passed by studying dump questions. But my parents ( Shyamal Chakraborty & Shikha Chakraborty), my instructor Masud Alam and even the institution IBCS-Primax kept on encouraging me, finally leading me to sit for the exams on 31st December, and there we go !! The congratulating message from zend appeared ! I felt like the happiest guy on Earth !

A few briefings for getting Zend Certified for beginners

First, you should get the syllabus for the certification exam, which you can be determined about by following the study guide provided by zend .

If you feel like that’s not enough, you might want to try the authorized zend course in IBCS-Primax, like I did. And after that, all you need is patience, hard-work and of-course, determination !

My exam question

Well, honestly speaking, the question wasn’t easy at all ! As you know, there are 70 questions to be answered, some in MCQ format, and few in short answer format. Exam time 1 hour and 30 minutes. In my exam, around 60% of the questions were based on PHP language reference  and OOP , so they are definitely the topics of the highest emphasis according to me. But 60% is not the pass marks, so you need to be knowledgeable about other topics as well. And remember to overview the emphasis level described in the zend php 5.3  study guide.

Conclusion

It’s a good news for the PHP community in Bangladesh that the number of ZCEs in Bangladesh is escalating day by day. And I would say that comparing the population, Bangladesh is probably the holder of the top position for Zend Certification in South Asia. There are already 52 ZCEs in Bangladesh (around 8000 in the world) , and I hope it will be increased by you, yes YOU people.

Wishing all of you best of luck. Never stop dreaming.
